Letter Photo Board

My wife asked me to make a letter board for the home. I decided to mix it up a bit and add the option for photos as well. These are really neat to have for family announcements and welcoming family or guests. There are several designs out there but I decided to go with a more wood like design. I didn’t want the traditional felt board with plastic letters. Very tacky if you ask me.  Anyway, I got to use my router table again and I’m very much enjoying the extra room.

I used oak backings for the letters and just purchased the pre-cut wooden letters from my local hobby shop. My wife loves it and it’s rather fun making new messages on it. Especially when you’re the one who made it!

  • 2×4 Stud
  • White Oak
  • 1/4″ Plywood
  • Hard Board
  • Titebond II Wood Glue

I needed something quick and handy for my growing collection of drill bits. I made an identical cabinet for my router bit collection as a trial run and I liked it. So I just duplicated it for my drill bits. It’s just a basic cabinet for my drill bits. Nothing elaborate or anything. I started…

Mother’s Day was approaching and my wife was hinting about our kitchen loft and how empty it looked. She decided to have me build a command center with a farmhouse style bench. I started the command center by looking on the internet for ideas. I wanted to see what people were doing. Well, it turns…

There has been a long pause on the channel due to many variables. The most important one is we moved to a new home and the adjustment has taken a lot of my focus away from woodworking. However, I’ve managed to get full rein of the garage and have started to create a workflow with…
