Flip Top Tool Cart

When you have a small garage, a few adjustments need to be made.

I already had a thickness planer and just bought the Ridgid EB4424 Sander. So I needed a space saving solution.

I searched around the web as usual and looked at some designs, but I didn’t like some of the locking options for the flip carts that I saw. I found the design I liked at FixthisBuildthat.com. Basically, my philosophy is, if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.

I did however customize it a little bit. Instead of screwing the bolts into the top, I embedded them into the top. I also reinforced the locking groves with some extra plywood I had left over from the build.

In addition, I used the foam brick that my Oneida Dust Deputy came with, and created an accessory holder for the Ridgid EB4424 sander.

See photo below.

It is a very handy tool to have around, and saves a lot of space!
